PLEASE READ CAREFULLY...I'm going to go out on a limb and make this statement: THIS IS THE MOST ORIGINAL, UNRESTORED TOTALLY RUST FREE Dodge A100 van on the planet!!! There!!! I said it!! And it's true!!
WHAT YOU SEE IS THE WAY THE VAN WAS KEPT SINCE NEW. Nothing has been touched up or detailed. All of the 1960's flaws, paint runs and shoddy workmanship shines through!! That's what makes this TIME CAPSULE A100 so special. Look close at the picture of the door weather stripping. The glue that was applied and how it just ran down the door and dried. It's been that way since 1966!! Oh, and get this...it was NEVER UNDERCOATED!! The pictures of the underside show the red oxide primer and turquoise paint and ZERO rust!! Any of us Mopar guys know how these vans were prone to rust, well not this one. And the miles are ACTUAL...64,476.
PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO LOOK AT AND BLOW UP ALL THE PICTURES ESPECIALLY THE UNDERSIDE OF THE VAN. And the paint..
It's the ORIGINAL PAINT!! Yes it has a few scratches here and there, and a couple dents on the roof as pictured. The seat material is ORIGINAL, can you see a pattern word here??? ORIGINAL...NEVER RESTORED SURVIVOR!!
Mechanically it starts and runs great. No smoke or weird noises, the transmission shifts smoothly through all three gears. The clutch feels good and it has had some recent brake work that bring the van to a nice straight stop. All in all, there are no known problems with the van. Fly in and drive it home if you want!!
Questions?? Please call BEFORE you bid if you have any. My reserve is a fair one, it's what I believe the van is worth. It's impossible to find a comparable, but the reserve price is fair. Call me anytime for an honest chat about the van.
