1946 Dodge Truck for sale. I built this truck from the ground up. Here is a rundown of the specs.Chassis- Custom made 2x4 steel tubing frame, rear is kicked to make the truck lower, and the front is Z'd for the same reason. Frame sits about 4" off the ground. Straight axle front, bought brand new, with parallel leaf springs and shocks. Rear is leaf spring also with shocks. Front disc brakes, also purchased new, and Ford truck rear drums. Steering is manual rack and pinion. Wide whitewalls on the front, and cheater slicks in the rear. Tires are a little over a year old.Drivetrain- Motor is a completely rebuilt Chevy 327 out of a 1967 Chevelle. New heads, (Camel hump 327 heads), camshaft (Earson), and hypereutectic pistons. Has a Weiand Street Charger 4-71 Blower and Holley 750 carb. Custom made headers (VERY loud). Transmission is a TH350. Rear end is a Ford 9 inch. Aluminum radiator, and high flow water pump. Probably around 5000 miles on the motor to date.Body- 46 Dodge truck cab chopped 3 inches in the rear and 6 inches in the front. Original dash, steering wheel and column from a 50's Chevy truck. New floors are coated with a nice bed liner coating. Authentic Mopar pistol grip shifter that has been extended. Push button start, Working headlights (high and low beam) and turn signals front and rear. Taillights are original 61 Caddy lights. Headlights are early model Ford. Hand made air cleaner scoop. Custom made bed, with functioning tailgate, and has been sprayed with bed liner. has 4 fuel tanks, all are functioning, electric switch to run off of either top 2 tanks or 2 side tanks. Fuel tanks in bed are original B-17 bomber stainless steel oxygen tanks with custom caps, and side tanks are WW11 jerry cans. Holds close to 20 gallons total. No side or rear glass, also has suicide doors. Paint is Hot Rod Flatz Mint green, and has professional pin striping throughout.Interior- Original 46 Dodge dash, Chevy truck gauges, early 50's (if I remember right). The Speedo needs rebuilt, and it has an auxiliary temp switch located on steering column. Oil pressure gauge works good. Custom made seats that were professionally upholstered, (very comfortable).Truck is a blast to drive, gets a ton of attention. I wanted it to look rough and mean when I built it, and it plays that role pretty well. It will make small children cry. :-) I've had the truck for about 4 years, always garage kept and well maintained. Don't have to sell, but want to build something else. Not interested in trades. I've driven the truck to Beatersville car show in Louisville KY for the past two years (about 2.5 hours away) always performed well on the road. I'm happy to answer any questions, TEXTING is the best way to reach me. (812) 480-5532 Thanks for looking
