As you will see from my pictures and description that this is not your average early mustang.This car spent most of its life in the dryclimate of Texas,which explains why all metal and panels are original from when new.It has never been hit or patched anywhere! It presently has no rust and never did.It was repainted in its original color of springtime yellow about 7 years ago and still looks great. I would rate it to be an 8 out of 10 and has beenin many shows. All chrome is either excellent original or new.Within the last year I have done extensive rebuild or replacement of all mechanicals.The complete underside,engine compartment and trunk area received new paint.The engine is a 1966 A code 289 from another mustang which got a complete overhaul including new pistons,rings,camshaft,crank turned,all new bearings,line bored,balanced,oil pump,oil pan,distributor,water pump,fuel pump,rebuilt Autolite 4100 carb and all gaskets and seals.The four speed toploader transmission was rebuilt with new bearings and seals.It has an original flywheel resurfaced with new clutch, pressure plate and release bearing. The 4-speed shifter has been rebuilt with new bushings so its very tight.The driveshaft was sandblasted,painted with POR 15 and new u-joints installed.The 8 inch rearend housing was sandblasted, painted with POR 15,center section rebuilt with new 300:1 ring and pinion gears with all new bearings/seals installed.New rear brakes with new drums,shoes and all hardware replaced. The front brakes are new Kelsey Hayes 4-piston type disk with new dual reservoir master cylinder installed for safety.All suspension and steering components are new. It has correct 66 style steel wheels with trim rings and new BF Goodrich radial T/A tires.All brake lines both hard and soft are new. Every component of the fuel system is new including rebuilt Autolite 4100 4V carb,fuel tank,pump and all hard lines.The dual exhaust system is all new with aluminized pipes and correct hangers.The heater box is redone with new seals,hoses and aluminum heater core.It has a new rally pac with Quartz clock and tachometer.All dash gauges work including working ammeter.The manual black convertible top is excellent and comes with new parade boot.The interior has no flaws and It looks like the original seats. Installed is a AM/FM stereo with trunk located 12 disc CD changer.Speedo shows 88k miles and I believe it to be actual miles.I have spent over $10K, just for parts alone,within the last year on this car to make this a very nice and reliable Mustang with no issues.I know this car inside and out, call if you have questions or need another picture 407 814 0624 Dave
