I've added a few more pictures, including the Certificate of Authenticity, a stack of receipts and the binder of pics showing one of the in-restoration painting process.
The restoration was started in mid-2007 and completed three years later, all work done in the Reno area by a well-known restorer and vintage racer of these old Porsches. The outside panels of the car look like they were stripped to bare metal and resprayed to Porsche restoration standards. The receipts show over $12,000 on the paint and body work. The car has about 1200 miles since the restoration.
After speaking with the owner, she informs me the car does have several faults:1. the passenger door elastic pocket holder isn't working well. I'm not sure what she meant but I'll check it out and post more info.2. the original steering wheel rubber at the 12 o'clock position has come loose from the metal rim3. the dash top is a little warpedThat's it for now.thanks, bill
After taking the car for a spin. I noticed the clock isn't working. Also, all glass is original and in very good condition; there are a couple of pits on the front windshield, though.
