I have my 1964 Suburban for sale. We would use it for family vacations. It has been garaged during the last 12 years of my ownership. Due to illness I am forced to sell. My loss is your gain.I recently had a new gas tank and float installed. It has a strong 350 Oldsmobile engine and a turbo 350 automatic transmission. The rear end is from a passenger car for better highway gears. I was told when I bought it the rear end was from a Lincoln. There is an aftermarket air system that worked, but haven't tried for the last year and a half due to my illness. The front leather seats and center console are from a 2003 Cadillac Escalade. Set up for a big man.
The driver side front fender is starting to show rust at the bottom of the fender. It hasn't come out yet.The transmission leaves a couple drops when parked. There is a hole a little smaller than a dime on the roof between the driver and passengers seat. I picked at it and it fell out. I put a picture.I have a cd player in it but cant find the face plate. I'll keep looking. The paint job is 12 years old, the top has faded. the body has a couple scratches from my rugrats over the years. An aftermarket emergency brake will need to be installed. (Never got to it)That's everything I know is bad. The real mileage is unknown.Truck being sold as is.
It is still a strong good looking vehicle that runs and looks good going down the street.Thank you for looking.
