You get as excided as we do when you see a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible hit the right marks of the original factory color combo, four-speed manual, and factory side pipes. But really all you had to do was look at the fantastic overall presentation, and we already knew you were hooked. Marina Blue is this car's original color, and it's a great look on a Sting Ray ragtop. Like the hue's namesake, it's bright and sunny with a very nautical bent to it. On the Corvette's instantly recognizable curves, the blue looks fabulous. There was an investment to have this paint professionally reapplied recently, and so it has a level of gloss and shine that's far superior to what the factory offered. You can easily tell from the pictures that the fiberglass is in great condition, and it lines up straight to showcase the creased lines of the C2 body. But the part that you'll really like to know is that all the brightwork is complete and clean from the thin bumpers to the cursive script on the rear. The Corvette's version of the iconic Rally wheel package gives this car a great sense of bright tradition, but your favorite feature is probably right in-between those. The factory sidepipes gave these C2s serious attitude and the rumble from the V8 to back it all up (more on that in a moment.)The black interior is a great perfect color combination on this speedy Corvette, especially since everything keeps its deep black sun-free appearance right down to the comfy bucket seats. The C2 interior is always a favorite in classic car circles. The now-iconic dual cowl design is as much a part of the motoring experience as the purr of the engine or rumble of the exhaust. A woodgrained steering wheel feels great, transmitting the front tires' activities directly to your fingertips, and all the gauges show crisp markings that let you keep an eye on the engine's status. An upgraded, but Corvette-specific, AM/FM/cassette stereo lives in the center stack. That allows for a modern digital tuner while still showing off the unique vertical orientation. And yes, even the clock works! This is a true wind-in-your-hair sports car. But for those few times you're caught out in the rain, the black folding vinyl top has a snug fit to keep the drive home secure.Under the hood is a great mix of the right originality with the right upgrades. It starts with a period-correct 327-block that boldly radiates from the engine bay in its bright Chevy orange. Other original-style equipment includes the refinished ram's horn exhaust manifold and the Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor. Add to that the shine of the Chevrolet valve covers to match the air grabber and the Edelbrock Performer intake for added pep. The total package makes for a concert of V8 prowess that is sung right next to your ears thanks to the side pipe exhaust. Best of all you are the conductor of this symphony because of how the four-speed manual gives you complete control over the powerband. The Corvette remains one of the best experiences on the road, and that is thanks in no small part to the fully independent suspension and four-wheel disc brake package. Complete with factory buildsheet, owner's manual, and a ton of maintenance receipts/records, this is the best way to enjoy a beautiful blue four-speed Corvette. We know the last year for the C2s were the best, so hurry and grab this deal. Call today!!!
