Up for auction is my 1967 Mustang GT Fastback. This is a desirable, well-optioned car with the GT package, S-code 390 big-block engine and 4-speed transmission. This GT Fastback looks great in its original Dark Moss Green with black interior. According to the Marti report, this Mustang was produced on June 20, 1967 in the San Jose factory and came with the following options:
- 390 cubic inch (320 HP) engine
- 4-speed toploader transmission
- GT Equipment Group
- A/C Selectaire
- Dark Moss Green Exterior
- Black Standard Buckets
- Power Steering
- Power Brakes
- Styled Steel Wheels
- Fold-down Seat
- Tinted Glass
- AM Radio
The lower and upper consoles were not original equipment, but were added and are correct for the car. This Fastback was originally sold by Myers Courtesy Ford in Garland, Texas and, to my knowledge, spent most of its life in the southern US. I purchased the car as a project in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2004. The car was a solid, rust-free southern car. The following is a summary of some of the work that has been done to the car:
- New paint by professional bodyshop. All original Ford steel, with the exception of the front right fender and valences
- All new interior (seat covers, door panels, carpet, dash, instrument bezel, kick panels, headliner, etc.)
- Rebuilt suspension, steering and brakes
- New clutch and Hurst shifter
- New bumpers and moldings and emblems
- All new weatherstriping
- New Edelbrock carburetor (purchased in 2015)
- Pertronix electronic ignition
- New wiring harnesess
- 15x7 styled steel wheels (purchased in 2016)
- 225/60/R15 BF Goodrich tires (purchased in 2016)
- New front windshield, battery, gas tank, AMK fastener kit
- Passed government safety inspection in 2010
More work has been done (too much to list). I’ve driven the car a fair amount over this summer and it runs and drives well. It is a 50 year old car, however, and there are always things that can be improved. The things that I am aware that it needs are:
- A/C not hooked up (all parts there, have the compressor and condenser that came with the car)
- Speedometer not working
- Overhead console lights not working
- Radio not working (and no antenna)
I am selling because I have decided to downsize my collection a bit. I love this car, but I have too many and want to focus on a current project. I have had a few classic Mustangs over the years and have been a member of the Vintage Mustang Forum since 2003 under the username “TrevorK”. In person inspections welcome.
A $1,000 deposit is due within 24 hours of the auction ending. Full purchase price is due within 7 days. Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping, although I am willing to assist your shipper with whatever is needed. Purchase price must be paid in full before car will be released to the shipper.
Not interested in any trades, thanks.

Apparently though, it turns out that Flickr does not allow links to be posted on Ebay. Please message me and I will provide you with the link to the Flickr album.
