1967 Ford F-100 Ranger 89,265 Original Miles
I'm selling my 1967 Ford F100 Ranger with 89,265 original miles. I have owned the truck for 16 years and my great uncle from Washington State owned it since 1972, so I'm the third owner of the truck and for the truck being 49 years old it is in awesome condition!! The truck has matching engine, transmission and rear end. I broke down the the vin code number to show how the truck came from Ford.
Vin# F10YRB32461Vin Decoder:3-digits-series - F10 (F100 2WD)4-digit - engine code - Y (352 cid 8-cylinder)5-digit - assembly plant - R (San Jose, CA)6- digit - no. off assembly line - B32461 (May 1967 B26,000=B39,999)Wheel Base: 131 inchesColor - paint code - J (Rangoon Red - Paint Code# M30J-1515 - AModel: F100Body Code: I81 (I= ranger vinyl bench seat, red barcelona & dark red crinkle vinyl 81=conventional cab)Transmission Code: G (cruise - 0- matic transmission auto - 3 speed)Axle Code: C1 (rear axle - Type - locking ratio & capacity - 3.31 (3.3M) vendor model - Dana 44 (Dana 44.3) )In 2004 I had it painted from middle chrome strip up, the roof and the hood had a dull look to them. But the middle chrome strip down is the original paint. In 2004 the engine had 76,000 miles on it and had a local auto machine shop rebuild engine (.030 bore) heads, mild cam, and put a factory 4 barrel intake on engine. Engine has about 350 hp to 375 hp. I had the transmission gone through by a local transmission shop. They put in a new transmission filter, seals & gaskets and transmission never rebuilt. My Dad and I rebuilt the whole front end suspension of the truck. Coil springs, king pins, tie rods, wheel bearings, brakes, etc. We put power steering in the truck from a 1974 Ford F100 and did it right. Had the transmission shop put the tranny cooler on truck instead of Ford's old style anti-freeze tranny cooler. Then in March 2016 I just put in new bearings, seals, brakes and fluid in rear end. I have a lot of parts to go with the truck as seen in the pictures. Some of the parts are to make the engine back to stock and to no power steering. Some of the other parts are off of another 1967 Ford F100 pickup. In 2005 a new front windshield and gasket were put in. I have the original steering wheel which is in mint shape as seen in the pictures and the original AM radio. Brand new window seal kit for side doors that I never put in. The truck has minimal rust in three spots as seen in pictures. The truck is a driver and head turner and I get many compliments of the truck and it sounds awesome!!! Should you have any questions, please feel free to text me or call Ryan at 608.333.8793
