'49 GMC/ Chevy, Great patina, Hotrod/Ratrod, Nova front clip, small block chevy.

Great little hot rod/ shop truck/ cruiser, most the hard work already done. Truck runs and drives pretty well. Nova front stub, with power steering, Nova 10 bolt rearend, drum brakes front and rear. All fab. work done right. Motor runs good and is a 305 with small cam, headers, edelbrock manifold, and carb, GM Hei dist. Trans is a t-350, works fine. Tires are SHOT, as they are probably 25 years old and are rotting, wheels are some old Keystone 14" 5 spokes, with a few flaws in the chrome. Truck has been rewired 12 volt, looks pretty clean, the lites and the wipers may need a little work. Tilt Steering column is in good shape, Ig. switch is in the column. Bed is orig. wood and needs replaced, very little rust in the fenders, running boards, floors, hood etc. I can send more pics of the truck on the lift, showing the floors frame, cab corners etc. This truck is not pristine, and should be considered a good drive-able project, and will certainly need a little work to be road worthy. So no you can't drive it hundreds of miles home! Buyer should ask questions BEFORE you bid. Buyer is responsible for shipping, or pick it up in person within 7 days from end of auction. I have had a lot of request's to see pictures of the floor and cab corners, since ebay won't let me post any more pics, I have added some to the ad on craig's L. in Eugene, Oregon, under cars and trucks. So you can view them there. Some other things that I forgot to include in the description are: The windows are in good cond. and roll up/down fine. It has the deluxe stainless garnish moldings around the glass, and all the glass is good. The shifter is on the floor and is after m. and works quite well. The heater is after market, but I have not tried it out. The headlites work but tail lights don't. I don't think the wipers work either? The orig. gas tank under the seat, had old gas in it and may be rusty?, so I put a temp. tank in the bed and it is running off that just fine. I don't have a battery that I can leave in it, but you can borrow it to start it, and move it around. The title and plates are in oregon, and is a lein title, which is satisfied, so the new owner can reg. it in Oregon, or the state of your choice. I would like to be paid in cash when you pick it up, if you are picking it up in person. If you are having it shipped, I could have you wire the money, or we could talk about other options, paypal, E. check.
