1970 GMC/Chevy C10 Short Bed Step Side Truck

This truck received lots of work after being found SITTING in a barn after 31 years. This rare short bed step side truck is COMPLETELY RUST FREE !!

The Original 250 6 Cylinder engine received a complete major tune up after having a compression test performed.

*PLEASE NOTE* All parts that were installed on this truckwere the highest quality aftermarket parts from our Napa Store.

The tune up included new spark plugs, spark plug wire set, points, condenser, rotor distributor cap, newignition coil and a new heavy duty battery.

The single barrel Rochester carb was completely rebuilt.

This GMC also received a new water pump, new belt and new upper and lower radiator hoses. Most gaskets were also replaced including front and rear main seals and new oil pan gasket.

The steering box was replaced along withnew tie rod ends and a front endalignment was performed.

The brakes are also completely new. The brake master cylinder, all 4 brake drums, front and rear brake shoes, all new wheel cylinders, all new steel brake lines and new flex lines. The parking brake cables are also new and operate as they should.

Theexhaust system is completely new from the exhaust manifold to tail pipe. This truck also has four brand new all season radial white lettered tires.

The suspension is all new too! Both front and rear springs are new, all 4 shocks were also replaced with brand new parts.

The cab mounts and radiator support mounts are all new too! The short bed floorhas 3/4 Inch plywood painted with 3 coats of satin black paint on both sides.

This rare truck starts, runs and drives great!

All lights are new (4 new Halogen sealed beam headlamps), new front fender marker lights, all new tail lights and reverse lights along with a new licence plate light.

All metal is very solid, all cab mounts and floors are very solid. The rocker panels, cab corners are all very solid too! This truck has no rust issues whatsoever!

The interior of the truck had some improvements too!

The original bench seat received new foam and a brand new cloth (velour) seat cover. We installed a new heavy duty rubber floor mat for the complete passenger compartment floor.

Seat belts were also added for both the driver and passenger (no belt was installed for the center of the bench).

The Texaco sign onboth exteriordoors are a decal and can be easily removed.

This truck is safe to drive virtually anywhere.

This truck is being sold with a Valid Ontario Safety Inspection Certificate.
