Tires are in great shape. Wheel alignment/oil change done 7/2016. Car inspected by dealer June 2016. Oil changes are every few years, depending on how much you use the gas engine.
Gets equal charge as it did when I purchased it. gets up to 45 miles on Electric before switching to gas (see picture). The gas engine will get you 300+ miles at 40 MPG-so no range anxiety! You can drive cross country in this with the gas engine, without stopping to charge. The advantage of the Volt over other electric cars is the unlimited range from the gas engine backup.
Charges on 120 volt outlet (12 amp 120 V charger included). From empty takes ~8 hours to charge overnight while you sleep. 240 volt charger can charge in ~3 hours (I don't have one of those). Charging has added about $5-10 to my monthly electric bills as I charge overnight when there are off peak hours.
If your commute is right, you can use very little gas-in 10,000 miles I've used 25 gallons of gas.
Note-its a 4 seater. I've fit wife/2 kids in easily, with luggage. Rear seats fold flat. I'm selling since I need a 5 seater. I am the 2nd owner.
Optional roof rack for an extra $200 (Inno) for kayaks/beds/etc. If you submit an offer and want the roof rack, please let me know.
Snow handling is excellent, due to the low center of gravity from the battery pack.
EXCELLENT condition, minor scuffs on hubcaps/body as in the pictures. NO Accidents/fender benders. And luckily no speeding tickets-it's fast ...
If any questions, private message me. Happy to talk by phone as well
If you've never driven an electric car ... once you drive one, you won't want to go back to gas! They are so much more fun to drive with instant acceleration! And alot less maintenance.
