2000 BMW 750iL protection Factory security armored vehicle, full service history

Offered for sale is a rare, one of 88 made, 2000 BMW 750iL Protection armored/armoured (bulletproof) luxury sedan. 104,500 original miles. To make things clear there are some individuals advertising their vehicle as a protection model when it is not. All e38 750iL vehicles came with dual pane glass. The Protection version has 19.4mm thick glass in the doors, and even thicker front windshield, and rear window. It also has a fully armored passenger compartment, special wheels, and other additional features giving it a B4 level rating. (protection from most handguns, and 12 gauge shotguns) There is no sunroof. There were only 88 of these vehicles produced and delivered worldwide, half of them made it to USA making this car one of about 44, probably the only one in white as most of these came in black or other dark colors. The US sticker price of this car was over $127,000. Which is about $28,000 more than a normal version e38 750iL. Due to the armoring throughout the car a side effect is that the car is very quiet, in fact it is just as quiet as a Tesla while driving at 60mph on the highway. The car is about 480 pounds heavier compared to a regular model. Highway fuel economy is not effected by the additional weight.

This car has been maintained by a BMW dealer since new, there are 49 service records from BMW on this vehicle throughout its lifetime up through the end of 2013 when it was put into storage. Since then it has been driven less than 1500 miles. Highlights of work done, radiator, thermostat, expansion tank, water pump, suspension, tires, power steering hoses, ABS/DSC module, etc. Vehicle has never been in an accident. This is a 3 owner vehicle but the first two are the person as it was originally a lease. Carfax shows no accidents or events of any kind. Recently the vehicle was brought out of storage, 2001 facelift performed (side skirts, bottom of bumpers painted body color, clear front/side turn signal and rear tail lamps installed), refreshed, cleaned, serviced, and tested. The car needs nothing and is ready to give a continued life of reliable service, comfort, safety, security, as well as aesthetic pleasure.

The car shows well, and is in great overall condition. Seats, carpet are in great shape. Paint is smooth and has high gloss. There are no fluid leaks, no rust or oxidation on the underside of the car. The engine runs smoothly, transmission shifts as designed, there is no shimmy or vibration in the steering, and there is no noise from the suspension. All accessories operate properly, all displays operate with no missing pixels. A/C blows cold. Tires and brakes have over 85% life remaining, front tires are new. There is a dent in the back of the car just below the left tail light. (can be seen in picture), the wheels have some curb damage. I can provide additional pictures by request.
