Every now and then, a modern car will catch my attention so completely that I just cannot take my eyes off of it. This 2014 Audi R8 Spyder V10 is one of those cars. Ever since I first saw it in storage here at Alara Garage, I have been struck by it; the striking Estoril Blue color, the black interior with the diamond stitching, the promise of the V10 engine behind the seats, and of course the gated 6-speed manual shifter in the center console. The owner of the car just consigned the car with my dealership, and I couldn't be more excited to offer it to you.

This R8 Spyder V10 has only covered 8,213 miles in its short life, and is in essentially as-new condition. The V10 engine produces 550 hp at 8,000 RPM, and the sound that it makes as it approaches redline will make your knees weak. In this particular car, the inimitable V10 sound is amplified by an Akrapovic exhaust system; however, the original exhaust system is present and will also be included in the sale of the car.

The interior of the R8 Spyder is typical Audi; that is to say, best-in-class, if not best-in-the-world. The current owner had the car's paint treated to a full CQuartz Finest treatment by Cavallo Auto Salon, and the front of the car is covered in a transparent and virtually unnoticeable SunTek clear film to protect the beautiful Audi paintwork.
