What's different about THIS E46 M3:
  • It has not been customized or altered from stock.
  • A huge amount of preventative maintenance has already been done to keep it reliable.
  • It comes with the very rare matching removable hard top.
  • It comes with all maintenance documentation from all previous owners.
  • Everything works.

  • It is in fantastic condition. I purchased this with 105,000 miles on it, with a new soft top and new tires. Since then I've only added about 7000 miles and it has always been garaged. In fact, I don't even drive it in the rain since it's just my "fun" car and not my daily driver. Non-smoking owner.
The following things have been done (all documentation provided).Note that this list includes VANOS rebuild and new clutch, 2 veryexpensive items:
    1. All fluids replaced (transmission, rear diff, power steering, brake, oil, coolant).
    2. Cooling system overhaul (new radiator, new radiator cooling fan and clutch, new water pump, new thermostat, new upper/lower pipes, new temperature sensor, new gaskets)
    3. New main drive belt
    4. New cam sprocket bolts.
    5. Replaced exhaust cam hub/oil pump driver with better cryo unit from drvanos.com
    6. VANOS rebuild (seals, gaskets, re-drilled oil pump disc, anti-rattle kit, rebuilt solenoid unit.
    7. New front control arms, bushings, tie rods + boots, 4 wheel alignment.
    8. New power steering reservoir
    9. New power steering pump, high pressure pump hose, tensioner pulley, steering pump pulley.
    10. Rear diff pinion seal replacement and diff flush
    11. DME and SMG software update.
    12. Timing chain tensioner replaced
    13. New fuel filter
    14. Rear brake pads
    15. New throttle position switches (A & B).
    16. Throttle body cleaning, intake cleaning.
    17. New spark plugs and ignition coils.
    18. SMG clutch replacement (disc, pressure plate, pressure plate bolts, release bearing, dual mass flywheel, flywheel bolts, pilot bearing, clutch pivot pin, clutch release arm, shift rod seal, output shaft seal, transmission fluid, exhaust seal rings, rear main seal, release bearing guide tube).
    19. Transmission compression sprints.
    20. Longitudinal acceleration sensor
    21. Liqui-moly jectron injector treatment
    22. Relay cooling fan removal, clean, lubricate
    23. Liqui-Moly engine clean treatment
    24. Liqui-Moly valve clean treatment
    25. Interior & trunk bulbs upgraded to white super bright LEDs.
    26. New rear shock mounts + shock mount reinforcement plates.
    27. Full interior leather deep clean and treatment.
. . .and of course, regular oil and filter changes.
I have meticulously cared for this with the expectation I would keep it until I stopped driving, but circumstances change. I have receipts for just over $11,000.00 for all this care and maintenance because I'm a BMW man and take care of my cars.
