It underwent a 3 year, frame-off restoration to show level. Body stripped to bare metal. Repainted in correct 1950 Chevrolet "Cape Maroon" color with subtle gold pinstriping. All chrome re-plated and trim polished. New wood floor in the cargo bed. Interior fully restored with new upholstery, rubber floor mat and seals, new glass. Gauges rebuilt. Optioned with Chevrolet AM radio, heater/defroster and spotlight. Beautifully finished throughout. Please see photos to admire the exceptional quality of the restoration. Mechanically, this truck is excellent. Rebuilt original 216 cubic inch "Thrift Master 6" engine. 95 horsepower. Manual 3-speed transmission. Stock gearing. New wiring harness. 6 volt electrical. Firestone bias ply tires wrap the maroon and gold pinstriped wheels, topped with new correct hubcaps. Runs and drives as-new, with less than 850 miles since completion.
