1995 Miata M Edition Car has under 47K miles. I have owned 8 years. The entire time I have owned the car it has been garage kept, rarely seen the rain and never seen the snow. The condition would indicate the previous owners treated this car the same way. I have all my records, plus the previous owner. The story went that the owner before that went through a divorce, and lost the paperwork. He was the owner for 13 years, and the one who made all the upgrades. The car when I bought it was immaculate and I have no reason to dispute it was lovingly kept.
I have owned this Miata since it had 32K miles. It has purely been a summer car, and I have stored every winter. I have done oil changes annually, and the car had new tires (Summer Performance Bridgestone’s) added just 4K miles ago in 2015. Front Brakes done at 39K. Transmission flushed at 37K. Car has aftermarket parts. These include JBL Amp, aftermarket speakers, wood trim, Viper 300 Alarm. The cover is fabric, with a glass window. It is aftermarket, not sure the brand but its in good shape. The car also has a cover. There is a mounting for a wind deflector, which I have and is functional but not in best shape. I have multiple extra parts inc. Front Bra, extra radio set, some extra trim pieces etc.
To my knowledge, no major issues at all with the car. I would comfortably drive it hundreds of miles home. But it is a 22 year old car and my call outs are:1) I have never replaced timing belt (non-interference engine so I figured I would replace if it broke). Not sure when it was last done.2) Battery – same one when I bought the car. I trickle charge all winter and it has never been an issue but probably due3) Front Bumper – was re-sprayed at some point. I know since some paint came off. I have put an M decal plus some touch up paint over it since I wanted to avoid spending $1K for a respray. I could see what happened – looks like a small ding (license plate damage maybe) was fixed and resprayed. They used the wrong filler and the paint didn’t adhere to that spot. Bottom line, rest of the paint looks flawless so I touched it up and put the decal. The only other imperfection is a slight indentation in the front right fender - it's barely noticeable and I've tried to capture in the image above.
Bittersweet to sell but a growing family and not enough garage spaces just forces a sale. I have a clean carfax that I can send to someone if they are interested plus a video walk-around of the car. The car is located in central NJ.
