This might be one of the nicest first generation Explorers available on the planet.
Towed behind a luxurious RV since new by the original owner, this stunning Explorer 4x4 w/low range has just under 79,000 original miles with roughly 10,000 actual driving miles. With that being said this explorer is in "like new" condition. It is a stunning original example that is in near mint condition. Everything is in tip top condition and there are no issues. Always well maintained and serviced on time.
-Perfect auto-check score. Average vehicle score a 27-50, this one received an above average 54. Passed a strict California emissions test every time since new
Everything works including the strong ice cold air conditioning. The paint finish "Medium Sandalwood Metallic" has a brilliant shine and the interior looks virtually new. There has never been any paintwork, touch up's, rust or accidents. There are of course some minimal micks, door dings, chips, etc. from normal road use. This is a true survivor vehicle. The interior is showroom fresh (see pics).
-The engine, transmission, brakes, steering and suspension are all in proper working/excellent condition.-Powerful 4.0 lt runs extremely well. No leaks, smoke, overheating or strange noises. A+ condition-All fluids are clean and at the proper levels.
-There are a couple minuscule spider size cracks in the windshield which are not very noticeable. There is no obstruction to the driversview.-All of the chrome, trim and weather stripping are in superb un-weathered condition.
The Explorer had a custom front towing capable bumper that was removed. The original front bumper that is currently on the vehicle is slightly mis-aligned (see pics), it has since been properly adjusted.
The Explorer was only outside during the summer months and has never been exposed to harsh weather conditions, otherwise it was stored inside a garage in southern California since day one. This could quite possibly be one of the nicest most original and un-touched/appealing 4x4 SUV's available.They just don't come around like this to often.....The new owner will be pleased.....
