Hello- First of all i would like to thank you for looking at my truck.... To start, I am the second owner of this loaded powerhouse machine, and have owned it and purchased it as a lease turn in with 60k from Flint, Michigan. Now has 253k. I was searching for the right truck to pull my trailers with and that could go the long run, for as long as that would be, which is now. I have used it with great care and enjoyment but i do not use it anymore and the time has come to downsize and consolidate. It has been maintained constantly and always pampered and never beaten on or abused ( like some of these guys who try and use it like a tractor trailer, which it is not...) Factory HD tow package . I also installed the bedliner and tail gate/bed diamond plate guards when purchased. Power steering/brakes, windows/locks/seats, self dimming rear view, Infinity stereo,Sport full leather interio, Sport front bumper & lights package which is unique as it was much brighter than the regular ram trucks and a joy to drive with at night.
*New headlights and fog lamps
*Oil always changed at 7k and all filters (fuel and oil) changed- always used Rotella 15w40
*all joints always greased*
*Transmission always serviced at 10k intervals with Valvoline synthetic atf-4 and new filter with bands checked and adjusted as necessary
*when i got it at 60k, i immediately installed the BD Noise filter and also recently installed at 220k the oil pressure governor and sensor pkg
*Injector pump was replaced at 96k and i added a Walbro lift pump for good insurance
* New crank sensor
*Magnaflow stainless Turbo back straight thru muffler 4" system with Stainless tip.
*K&N fresh air intake.
*Van Aaken fuel/timing box which adds a little extra umph.....other than that it is stock- i didnt want to make it a hot rod, just improve it a little.....
Front end:
*Recently installed XFR upper and lower ball joints (so you can ACTUALLY GREASE THEM),
*all 4 new control arms with all new bushings
*track bar (Moog)
*tie rods
*new steering box stabilizer which keeps the pitman arm from wandering and immensely improves feel and drive-ability.
*Replaced all 4 shocks recently with HD Monroe Truck shocks
*new rear swaybar end links.
*Front sway bar link were replaced with greaseable type a while back.
*Also replaced steering shaft at 220k
*Custom leather wrap on steering wheel as it was worn...not wally mart junk......
Brakes:
*All brakes done at 250k, front and rear, and replaced rear hub seals in the rear axle as they're notorious for wetting down the brake shoes.....parking brake works well
*Just replaced R/Fr wheel bearings assy as it was loose
*All brake lines replaced at 190k, front to back
*All new tires......Rears done at 250k, and fronts done at 252k.....truck has Alcoa wheels with factory caps- rear wheels not installed / has factory steel on back but will include with truck along with all spares
4WD works well as you would expect...
Ice cold a/c!!! i have replaced and serviced this truck faithfully and to that end, it has all new a/c components:
*New evaporator core
*heater core
*condenser/ lines
*dryer/filter assy
*o- rings
*rubber/metal line
*high pressure switch
*Works as it should with no leaks as you would expect.
*Alternator replaced at 160k.
*All new radiator and lines, and recent water pump and fan clutch. All 3 idler pulleys and serpentine belt replaced at 252k.
* I did the Mopar starter system upgrade at 61k- relay and wiring upgrade pkg
*Interior is in good condition overall- driver seat has some wear but not super bad like some you see as i was pretty careful.
*Remainder of seats are nice and soft as i did take the time to condition them with Meguires leather cleaner/conditioner once in a while so they stayed soft and are heated/power.
*Dash plastic top is cracked as they typically are like a Dorito chip and will need a cover or replacement.
*All windows work well, and has OEM radio (works- use my Ipod, and which the cassette and CD do not work. ABS/brake light on as it needs to be reset from bleeding procedure- no brake issues mechanically as they were just serviced.
*all features of wheel work (cruise/radio/horn) as they should.
*Replaced all 4 doors properly (meaning no wiring was cut!) as they were rusty, and L/FR fender and LMC truck sport cowl induction hood as they were rusty as well. Running boards are diamond plate and need polishing. Installed rear roll pan as i like the look and the rear bumper was shot.....has small rust spot on RH rocker
*stainless towing mirror pkg OEM
Truck runs great and i drive it to keep it limber, so mileage will vary slightly as it is on the road and insured. Body is straight and solid and has minor dings/scratches but is better than most 17 yr old trucks! I have tried to give as much detail about this as possible. This auction is a binding agreement- you buy, you pay- not buy, then muck around.
