Up for sale is my custom stretched 1997 Lincoln Town Car. It is a 20" modification, 10" added to the B-pillar and 10" to the rear door, known as an "Executive Stretch/Sedan."
THE GOOD: Engine and transmission are in great running condition. The rear air suspension is virtually new, pump and air springs. Windows, (both) A/C units, dash, radio(s), locks and brakes are in good working order. The tires and front end are also virtually new. The paint is not original... done because the clear coat pealed, not as a result of an accident. The headliner in the passenger compartment is new.
THE BAD: The rear bumper has a scrape in the paint. The divider window gets stuck half-way. There is a minor oil leak, on the floor... NOT blue smoke accelerating. The driver compartment needs cosmetic attention that I have not had the time to tackle. There is minor rust bubbling on the stretched doors near the weather strip and under the vynil roof. (It has been garaged for years, so these rust issues have neither been repaired nor gotten worse.)
I am forced to sell my entire collection... this is not a voluntary sale. If you have any questions, please ask. If you'd like to visit, please ask. If you're going to make an offer, please be serious.
Regards,
Paul
