This is the best looking generation Carrera 4S ever made.
I am the original owner of this car since new. No accidents. It has been serviced only by Porsche dealerships throughout its life to date. It was never worked on by "some guy". It was under extended warranty until about just over a year ago.
It has all the latest seals and bearings, PLUS, a new engine block from Porsche which was replaced under extended warranty when a very astute technician at Joe Rizza Porsche noticed the original engine block was slightly porous and causing a small oil leak which up to that point had been blamed on bearing seals by the other mechanics at Sonnen, Beverly Hills and Loeber. The porosity was a result of a bad metal cast by Porsche and they were stunned by it. It doesn't happen much, but it does happen. The Rizza technician was the only one who bothered to do a trace. So, this car has a new engine block from Porsche (not a 3rd party) since 2016, along with all the latest seals. I can put you in touch with the service manager who handled the job it was a heck of a good job done by them.
It has a new alternator since fall 2016 also done at the dealership.
Also, new clutch and throwout bearing since 2016. She's ready to roll.
I spec'd it out new with Sonnen in Mill Valley, CA in 2002. I drove it in CA until 2008, when I moved to downtown Chicago. In Chicago, the car was driven on nice clear dry days in the spring, summer and fall in between maintenance start ups and drives around the indoor garage to keep everything flowing during winter months. It spent the last few years up at our cottage as a "country car" in Michigan for great country lane drives (garaged). We sold the cottage and it's now time to sell this beauty to someone who can give it a good home.
It has full natural dark grey leather, which was a pricey but worth it upgrade from the standard full leather. It's been a Zaino car for most of its life. It also has a short shift kit which was installed by Beverly Hills. Sirius radio. Guards red painted center console and upper surrounds. Guards red seatbelts. Has carseat anchor behind passenger seat.
Drives like a dream. Extremely planted. Sad to see it go but I hope someone good like you can give her a good home.
