Westfield Megabusa. Professionally built in 2001 by Alamo Sports Cars in Texas. One owner. Used mostly for Autocross events. Located in Chicago. Street legal with Illinois title. Standard Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle engine. 1300cc all alloy. 16 valve four cylinder. double overhead camshafts. magnesium heads. Features include a quaife limited slip differential. six speed sequential gearbox with separate auxiliary reverse gearbox. independent A arm suspension all round. Nitron single adjustable coil over monotube shocks. adjustable sway bars front and rear. nylon bushings throughout. US$40. 00 to build a car like this today. The car is in good mechanical condition but has a few bodywork flaws. It has been used principally for autocross racing and has suffered some “race rash” to body panels. The gel coated fiberglass fenders and nosecone have a number of cracks and stone chips. all of which are easily repairable or replaceable. The tachometer does not work. Could just be a wiring glitch but a new tach would cost approx $600. I did not need the instruments for racing and never got around to fixing this. The car does not have a trunk box or lid. I left these out for easy trackside access to adjust the rear shocks and sway bars.
