31 Model A Highboy Roadster Project Car

This 31 roadster body is designed with the street rodder in mind. The exterior dimensions are similar to stock to utilize a stock wheelbase chassis. but the seating area has been extended into the truck like a coupe and the doors have been lengthened 8 inches. A 32 style recessed dash is bolted in place like the original. Steel plate is bonded to the fiberglass floor eliminating the need for addition reinforcing. Steel bar stock line the door jams for secure mounting of the hinges and latches. A steel tube frame surrounds the seating area with three one inch square tubes in the doors and two 1 ¼ tubes from the B posts around the rear. The body comes fully assembled with the doors and truck lid hung and latched. This project includes a fully assembled roadster mounted on a street rod type frame. The main rails are made of 2x4 box tubing with 3/16 inch wall thickness. The fronts are tapered same as the original and have A type front frame horns. The front crossmember is 32 style and ready for a typical dropped front axle assembly. The rear has a six inch kick up and is ready for a radius rod or triangulated rear suspension. We can furnish and mount the suspension and more. This project comes with a bill of sale. no title. and is offered with a two week pickup and acceptance period.
