The paint shines like new. tons of chrome gleams. glass is crytal clear. inline 6 cylinder overhead valve engine runs sweet. 3 on the tree manual transmission shifts good. rare electric windows front. rare electric seat. nice interior. but not new. things work. VIN C545136192 MILES: 78339 reading today. but who really knows for sure. TITLE: Clear Tennessee title in hand. HISTORY: I can only tell you about recent history. A friend of mine in South Carolina owned the car and sold it to another friend of mine here in Athens. My local friend owned 6 classic cars and didn't drive the car so I bought it. My frist car was a 1954 Bel Air so I have a weakness for them. The car was restored when my friend bought it so I can't tell you much about the restoration other than what I see. HAS THE CAR EVER BEEN IN A ACCIDENT? I see no bends in the frame and no kincks in the sheet metal. I do not think its ever been in a bad wreck. HOW ABOUT RUST ON THE CAR? No rust bubbles or cracks in the paint. the frame is solid. the under side had the old time dealership under-coating and it must has done the job. The frame looks real solid to me. IS THIS A MATCHING NUMBERS CAR? I think so. but have no way to know for sure. DOES THE CAR HAVE ALL ORIGINAL PANELS? I think so. if any have been replace it was a super nice job that I can't see was done. Car has 2 very nice options: 1. Electric windows that work. 2. Power front seat that works. HOW DOES THE CAR RUN? I think it runs great. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? I think it drives super good. it is not power steering. but steers very easy. HOW DOES THE CAR STOP? Nice for 4 wheel drum brakes. HOW IS THE PAINT? I consider it above driver quality. the shine is super. no dents. no dings. no runs. no bad orange peel and the body is straight to look down the sides. I see some very ting touched up chips. but you have to look for them. HOW IS THE CHROME? I do not think you will have any complaints about the chrome. it all looks very nice to me. I see no dullness or rust. The stainless steel headlight rims are the worst to me and stainless can be buff. I don't think they need it. HOW IS THE GLASS? Nice. I see no cracks. no milky place and no chips. The side front windows are electric and work. The back windows roll up and down good. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? The headliner looks like new. door panels great. carpet nice. dash painted good. The drivers seat is weak. it has a bad place thats been repaired where the driver sides in. I list a picture of the bad place. DO THE LIGHTS WORK? Headlights work. tail lights work. brake lights work. turn signals work. the dome light is working. WIPERS WORK! GAS GAUGE WORKS! SPEEDOMETER WORKS! OIL PRESSURE READS VERY GOOD! THE GAUGE WHITE LETTERING IS FADED! RADIO DELETE CAR! CAR DOES HAVE A HEATER. BLOWER WORKS. BUT SEEMS SLOW! GAS TANK LOOKS NEW AND THE GAS GUAGE WORKS! TIRES ARE 15 INCH. THE ARE 215/75/15 RADIALS WITH GOOD TREAD! WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Here at my home/garage in Athens. Tennessee.
