*Car Runs Perfectly* *Warranty* *Full Maintenance, une Up, lignment, ires, ew Brake Rotors performed at a VW Dealership less than 2000 miles ago*
I bought this 2008 VW Touareg this past September with just over 82,000 miles at auction price. Upon purchase, immediately took the car to a VW dealership for maintenance.
The following list of performed maintenance all happened less than 2,000 miles ago at Volkswagen of Manhattan:
1. Full Engine Tuneup. Plugs, ilters, luids etc.
2. Total break job including New Brake Rotors - VW recommended brake maintenance requires a complete rotor change on this model. Simply replacing the pads is not sufficient or even safe. I followed VW maintenance recommendation and performed a complete brake job with new rotors and sensors and comes with a warranty
3. Alignment
4. Tires
5. Light bulbs and Wipers
6. Water Drain- All Touareg s eventually develop water draining issues from the outside of the car into the cabin that stems from the sunroof. To avoid the risk of water damage, incurred the cost of this expensive, ut necessary fix that most owners would neglect. This means the next owner of this vehicle will avoid this expense that all Touaregs eventually experience. I encourage you to read the Touareg forums to see how common this issue is.
Also, ecause I performed these fixes at a VW dealership, here is a warranty on all work done until the end of September 2016
All in, have spent roughly $19,000 on this car for under 2,000 miles of use. At this price, ou will save thousands of dollars on the maintenance you will eventually have to perform on any other Touareg.
Any portion of the extensive work I have incurred has a 1year warranty from Volkswagen.
I am completely transparent and have a full list of all service records and itemized receipts since my purchase in September.
