Description

Although not yet mint, his truck that spent most of its life in Florida is ready to have the details done to make a show truck. This is the last year of the square body, nd this 7.3 has never seen any real duty, nd only has 211,000 miles on it. If the oil is properly cared for like it has been, t should go for a couple hundred thousand miles (or even more!).
I got this truck from my brother last March, nd he was the original owner. This was his show boat, nd has done little work, nd no heavy hauling at all. One thing he was always religious about was changing the oil and fluids. That is why I bought the truck. As luck would have it, ight after I bought it coming up through South Carolina at a rest stop, he ignition would not work, nd everyone tried it. I had to break the ignition, nd replace the entire column when I got home, o the ignition and key are new. Over the next few months I got hit with more than my share and had to replace the starter, hat I replaced with a brand new high torque one. (powerstroke help said don't go with a rebuilt). I then replaced the batteries with extreme cold crank batteries that are excellent and were $500.00 and are still new. I then got hit with the alternator, o that is new. There was a recurring rough idle trouble that turned out to be a chip my brother had put in, o it has a complete brand new computer with all original Ford settings. I also put a new set of Heavy Duty shocks, ew tail gate, nd new low profile tool box (I have both new keys) While it was in the shop for the computer swap the fuel pump and wire harnesses were replaced. The turbo has no play and is tight as a drum, nd all of the injectors are clean and test good. Several months ago I replaced all of the front ball joints, earings, nd seals - with good greasable ones of course. "All" of the cases and transaxles just had the oil and fluid replaced, ncluding dropping the transmission pan and cleaning and replacing filter. The transmission only has about 40,000 miles on it.
The air conditioner needs to be serviced. There is an occasional sputter on the highway over 65 that is probably an air bubble that is the only issue - really the fuel lines should be replaced, therwise it runs like a top. This engine does not burn any oil! At the 3,000 mile oil change it will be down a pint to Full (from the additive, ne pint over). They say you can go 5,000 miles, ut I wouldn't, t looks dirty enough after 3,000. There were a couple of tiny dents, nd one 12" one in the door that were pulled, hat need to be filled. I was going to put a bed liner in next and paint the truck.
I am going to be leaving the country, o I have to sell everything. There is a possibility that I could deliver this truck for you depending on how far from West Virginia the destination is, here I would need to have the traveling expenses covered for a return bus ticket, uel, nd a hotel if needed. This will be a $1,000 deposit 48 hours after auction ends, nd payment in full within 7 days. I bank with Bank of America, o I would prefer one of their money orders.
