1947 Cadillac Series 62 4-dr. very solid, in Texas, new chrome, needs some work

Relisting this due to a non-paying, on-communicative bidder. 1947 Cadillac 4-dr. very solid, 9% rust-free, have installednew standard size pistons and piston rings, ebuilt fuel pump, leaned out the carburetor, heel cylinders rebuilt, our very nice sombrero wheel covers, ront and rear bumpers and bumper guards have been replated recently. I have also replated the grille, hehood ornament, he center hood strip, he trunk ornament,and several of the body side moldings to the tune of $3,500 in new chrome plating. Recent battery, ecent starter rebuild, ecent generator rebuild, ngine has been degreased and painted the correct dark green color, urns over easily and fires but will not run. Needs a valve job, ut I am out of garage space and so this one must be sold and moved by March 15th to make room.

This car is a Classic, s certified by the Classic Car Club of America (all 1940-1947 Cadillac series 62), herefore eligible for participation in their events.

Interior door panels, arpet, eadliner and upholstery are original and you can see the two torn spots in the driver's seat. Floors are rock solid inside the car and in the trunk, ncluding the spare tire well. All doors, runk and hood line up nicely and close with ease, ike a vault. I don't think the car has ever been wrecked and I cannot find any filler in the body, ther than for a few door dings. All glass is good, o cracked glass, o bubbled glass. Odometer shows 88,000 miles and I believe that is the correct mileage. I do have a clear, pen title signed by the previous owner, uyer's name to be filled in. I have a new muffler and exhaust system for it, ot installed yet but goes with the car, nd I have the square windshield washer bottle. The radio is missing, ne fender skirt is missing, nd one fog light is damaged beyond repair, ut I will include it with the car.

The car has Hydra-Matic transmission and manual windows, 46 cubic inch V8, ot currently running, ut does turn over and tries to run. Needs a valve job to run. Heads have been off recently for the new pistons and rings, o removing them for the valve job will not be difficult. I am simply out of space and time to do it.It will have to be hauled, r I can take it to Houston, exas for overseas buyers, or an additional $500. All of the tires stay up and the car rolls.
