He was transferred to Minot . ND this winter . He had the vehicle shipped over and soon learned the harsh weather conditions can make it tough on a vehicle. Instead of letting the harsh weather take a beating on his baby he decided to sell it and get a new FJ Cruiser. You are looking at a 1989 Land Rover Defender 110 12 Passenger 4x4. It is powered with a turbo diesel engin and five speed manual transmission . It is equipped with many standard options and includes an am/fm/cd player. The interior of this Land Rover overall is in good shape. but natuarlly shows some 25 year old age here and there . The seats are in good shape. The floor overall is in good shape. I took some pictures of where there is some rust around the foot well area . This is about the only significant rust I noticed and it really is an easy fix. I also noticed the headliner is sagging throughout. The exterior of the Land Rover overall is n the shape you would expect for it's age. There is some character here and there. but I didn't notice any signifcant rust or anything. The windshield is in good shape. Mechanically. nbsp;this Land Roverstarts right up and runs good. The transmission shifts smooth. The four wheel drive functions properly . The front end is tight. The tires are in average shape. The thing I would point out is I noticed an oil leak that can leave a good puddle at times. Overall opinion: This is one of the more unique vehicles we have posted on Ebay . We are not Land Rover experts at all. Howver. we wil try to answer any questions you might and also encourage a good walk around if you are serious about purchasing it. I would venture to say since this vehicle was driven across the country to its current destination it probably will go anywhere . but I would check the oil and other fluids occasionally.
