Description

Beautiful Restored Series IIA Landrover. With Hardtop Original NADA . North America Dollar Area . That had been in South Carolina . and had been used as a support vehicle at a tire testing track . One of the things that is not original is the rear cross member . I was told that at some time it may of had some equipment or a custom rear body of some type for use on the facility. The rear cross member is close to original style and maybe a little thicker material . But looks about the same . This was put on and re installed to the original rear body . Original color repaint in Marine Blue . I think they were only sold in the US in Blue with Limestone wheels . All the parts I have fitted have been from Rovers North or Atlantic British. . I have tried to keep it as original as possible . The only parts that are not of original style are the front flexible brake hoses are stainless steel Aeroquip . Changing out the unsightly blue cooling hose as soon as the correct one is in stock. Engine and Transmission have been Rebuilt:It has new:Fuel tank . Exhaust system CarburetorElectric Fuel pump Brake drums turned . all new shoes and wheel cylinders New master cylinder New Deluxe ( original style ) seats New rear bench seats . ( original style ) New distributor . Converted to electronic pick up . New coil New Exmore Trim Deep Weave canvas top ( Original vendor of LR tops ) New LR original or Brit Part Sticks for the canvas top . New tailgate for canvas conversion It needs new tires . The tires are old but have plenty of tread . but the inner tubes are getting dry rotted . I have the original Station Wagon hard top . The roof and sides are original paint and rubber etc so could do with being restored . but are serviceable as is . I have the rear door and hinges . which was painted at the same time as the rest of the body work . The top and rear sides are in the original Limestone . I tried to keep this as original as possible with out going crazy and doing a Concourse restoration . She starts and stops as would be expected. I have a fifth wheel for the spare which can be mounted on Hood. Comes with a SC title and is currently registered in GA without a title as they wouldn't issue one because of the age of the vehicle. Pretty standard here. Call me if you require any further information. Andy 404 556 1092
