1997 Land Rover Defender 90 NAS Automatic, 155K Miles

This is my 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 N.A.S. (North American Specification).
I am selling because I am moving and have come to the difficult conclusion that I can't take it with me. The Defender has approximately 155,000 miles.
This is #264 in Coniston Green, f only 1,300 Defender 90 Hard Tops (Station Wagon) made in the 1997 final production year for the United States, nd the only year with Automatic Transmissions.
The Defender has a SALVAGE Title applied, hich had been applied before I bought the car.


The car runs great, nd drives down the road as fast as you want it to. It drives great in the field, round town, nd at 70 or 80mph on the highway. The Defender has the 1997 Year Model 4.0 Liter V-8 Engine with ZF 4-Speed Automatic Transmission.

-Exterior Body in Good Condition with slight dents and scratches characteristic of 18 year old 4x4
-Interior in Great Condition
-All Seats are in Excellent Condition
-Front Carpet in Excellent Condition, ewly installed in, /2015
-Rear Carpet in Good Condition
-All (4) Michelin M&S 265 Tires in Great Condition
-Rear Spare (1) BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A 265/75 R16 Tire in Great Condition (Maybe Unused?, t was on the car when I bought it, nd I have never used it)
-New Battery, axx EverStart 24F (3 Year Guarantee),Installed 2/2015
-Heat works Great in Winter, lows hot!
-Radio Works Great, peakers play Loud!

-Full Land Rover 150 Point Inspection last done at Land Rover of Darien, T by Certified Land Rover Technician, 2/2014
-Passed Yearly Emissions for CT in 12/2014.
-Passed Yearly Emissions and Safety Inspection for Washington DC, /2015(Currently Titled and Registered in DC with Valid DC Inspection Sticker)


There are some Minor Cosmetic Issues and Other Issues:
-Some minor scratches and dents on body
-Some Rust on the Interior of rear bumper and Underside of Car
-Spot on hood where paint has begun to chip
-Headliner is pulling away slightly (very common), nd has two very small tears in rear
-Drivers seatback has two small tears (otherwise seats are in excellent condition)
-A few small stairs on rear carpet
Other Issues:
-One Trailing-Arm is slightly bent--The car drives great! however, his causes the steering wheel to be slightly off-center when driving straight to compensate.
-Turn Signals do not always cancel correctly. A mechanic told me this is likely due to the non-factory steering wheel, nd putting an original steering wheel back on would likely fix this.
-Passenger Door keyhole broken--Meaning the Passenger Door can only be locked/unlocked from the inside. NOTE: I have a matching replacement lock that will be included!, have just never gotten around to replacing it.
-Factory A/C does not work currently. The A/C did work as it should in Fall 2014, owever when turned on for the first time this spring it did not work.
-CD Player Does not work (Radio works great!, ust not the CD Player part)
-Seatbelts for Rear Seats are mostly missing--2 of the rear seats have the female buckle only, ther 2 have nothing
-Rear Window Wiper does not work
