These Limited Edition Defenders were the last 300 Defenders imported into this country. This is #255 of only 300 LE ’s made in 1997. This is a nice, lean, ell-optioned Defender 90 that runs and drives as good as it looks. The CARFAX shows four previous owners and verifies it's low mileage. The CARFAX notes "fire damage reported in the passenger area involving radiated heat causing the vehicle fire". This damage occuredback in 2002and alldamage was repaired by Bluff City British Cars (the Land Rover dealership in Memphis, N). The finish on the paint is nice and glossy. The only exterior apologies are a few imperfections typical of an eighteen-year-old vehicle (see pics). The interior is in good condition. All four jump seats look good and the two front seats look great. The carpet has less wear than you would expect from an 18-year-old vehicle thanks to the Land Rover rubber matting in the front and rear. The headliner was recently re-done and looks excellent.This Defender drives very well. The automatic transmission shifts well through all gears.
