Land Rover Defender 130, ouble cab, i capacity pick-up

Very nice Land Rover Defender 130, ompletely refurbished in 2012-2013.

The whole process took over 425 hours of work and it started with a brand new 130 HD galvanized Richard Chassis and all other components where added over it. Brand new brake components, New medium HD suspension (hybrid with LR genuine and Terrafirma components) many new parts and a lot of them galvanized plus stainless steel bolts were added. Chassis is TD5 optioned with new ABS fuel tank underneath.

Truck body was a British non molested 1990 130, ruck was disassembled, andblasted, ealed and primed. A galvanized Left Hand bulkhead was added to convert the vehicle to a LH drive. Then, he body was coated with clear coat/base coat Keswick green genuine LR solid color. Job was done by a professional painter in Sherbrooke. (Québec)

The whole truck was also added with Line X protector (inside the box, ll over the truck cabin and under the hood) Good improvement for sound proofing and corrosion. I’ve also added checker plates all around lower body with special feature on the rear round box corner. Mud spats were also added over the back wheels. Wheels and tires are brand new. (special Boss wheels with BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires 265-75-16) Side steps are new and in stainless steel (Fire and Ice Special Edition model)

Interior was added with Black Half Rack/Half Leather seats (lightly used).I've bought a new reupolstoring kit for both front seats with new heated pads for both. NOT SHOWN IN THE PICTURES BUT SHIPPED TO THE NEW OWNER OR INSTALLED BEFORE DELEVERY DEPENDING OF THE PICK UP DATE. I’ve also put a complete genuine LR sound proofing mat kit plus other rubber mats for extra protection over it. ($1500 value)The front bumper is an ARB Australian bumper that was sendblasted and powder coated. I’ve also put a brand new Warn winch, 12000, ever been used. ($2200 value) This truck has a dual battery system. The doors are post 2007 new design with galvanized steel frame over galvanized steel door skin for better durability. Easy to convert to electric windows. Special protection plate was also added under the chassis for better protection of the steering components. Wiring harness is all brand new and many components were isolated into sealed boxes to protect from water. The truck has a special wiring for accommodation of many different trailer plugs configuration. A lot of additionnal breakers and wiring was done for future upgrades in lighting or any other utility.

Truck is equipped with an alarm system, ’ve added a brand new A/C LR genuine system. (nearly $4000 installed) Transmission and transfer were rebuilted, model R380 and Lt230 1.4 ratio) Engine was bought brand new and transplanted from my D110 to my 130. The engine has 84000 kms (52 000 miles) and is in perfect condition.(the only item not rebuilt on this truck) Revision was done prior to installation, ew timing belt, il pan remove and coated with a special coating life time warranty, ll bearings checked also prior installation. This engine is a HS 2.8 VNT made by International and was made under licence in Brasil for Land Rover and was never commercialized. This engine has a lot of torque and is very south after by many enthusiast. (Sold by MDEngeenering in UK, arts easily available) Truck also has a superb entertainment system, t’s a Kenwood 7190HD with satellite radio, lue tooth, amera, PS, ub and amplifier ($2000 value)etc. Canvas was given to me and is not perfect at all. (A new Exmoor trim (sand color) is awaiting in january and will be delivered to the new owner) . This truck is ready for work or expedition, t's a superb working truck, an be use as a daily driver or for expedition purpose. A lot of attention was put on many details during the built. Can be also easely converted to a urban show truck with minimal investment for those who prefer nice looking street truck.

Remember, t’s the last year of production for the Land Rover Defender into that design. It will become a collector item in the next few years. Value may not go lower, ust higher over time!!!

Refurbishment job was done by a LR Specialist located in Lennoxville, ear Sherbrooke (Québec).
This guy has over 35 years of experience in LR business. It's my second LR from him.

This truck cost me over 70K to build. Be honest, won't let it go for half price. It's a very low miles unit with 375 miles on it.
Remember. it's the last year of the Defender into that design. This unit can be easily converted to super street truck with a minimal budget.
