The vehicle has been lightly restored to its trip condition to preserve the amazing history behind it. There are some small issues which I have listed that I cannot get to. The roof top tent is in excellent shape, ith mattress and all pieces present including metal rainfly struts. The Hannibal awning is included, ll pieces but just not installed. All lights work but the roof rack lights are not plugged in. The interior is in excellent condition and very, ery clean. There are no rips, ears, tains or damage at all to the seats or interior. All factory seat covers with "Drive Around The World" logo are included. Many of the decals have been replaced, have more but have not replaced them. I contacted the original company that made them and had another set made, hey still had the files. They are included with the sale. Currently the vehicle has BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires in good shape, ots of life left in them. The Discovery currently has 101,000 miles. The original engine was replaced in 2009 with a 2004 4.6 liter motor with 48,000 miles. Therefore the current engine only has 61,000 miles. The vehicle runs excellent, nd is ready for another trek around the world. This is an incredible vehicle with a very storied past. Due to it being 1 of 4 it's ridiculously rare. In my quest to learn about the history of the expedition I contacted members of the team and have put together an exhaustive album covering all the details of the trip from the initial member application to the document listing the vehicle for sale. I also have many, any photos of the trip, he original DVD set highlighting the trip and tons upon tons of paperwork about the trip. These items are included with the sale of the truck. Please check out the websites and learn more about this rare vehicle. Contact me with any questions you may have. I am open to reasonable offers but please understand this vehicle is being offered not as a modified 2003 Land Rover Discovery but as a very rare piece of Land Rover history. My intention is to get this into the hands of a collector or someone who will appreciate what it truly is. Thanks for looking.
