This is a very rare 1964 Series 2 Land Rover. Madeoriginally for the British Army this car has an extensive military history file showing the army bases it toured through during its career. The vehicle was military for 8 years before being turned over for civilian use in 1972. This Land Rover holds a certificate from the British Historic Vehicle Trust, ertifying it as apiece of British military history. A one of a kind vehicle, he only one in North America without a doubt! Also included is the original 1964 Army handbook, ssued with the vehicle when it was new!!
The car has a four speed gearbox with overdrive and low and high ratio shift. Its in a very nice originalcondition with no rust, ot or modifications to take away from its history and past. Drives perfectly and willhappilycruise at 45mph. Amazing off roadcapabilities. All the tires are new with plenty of tread, he roof in a very good condition also with no leaks! Roof cover can be rolled up or removed completely to enjoy the weather and feel the drive!
