2004 Volkswagen Beetle TDI

This beetle has been my daily driver for 2 years. Fuel mileage is over 40 mpg every day. Highway travel nets 46-48 mpg. I am regularly achieving 450-500 miles per tank.
I replaced the front bumper because the original had a bunch of cracks in it. I did not get it painted because the best quote I could get for paint was $550. I was not willing to pay that much for Maaco to do a $129 bumper special.
Maintenance.The timing belt was changed when I bought it at 97K miles. The maintenance interval is updated on the timing cover.The clutch was changed at 115K because the original dual mass flywheel was beginning to fail and chatter.Oil changes have all been accomplished with Castrol Edge European Spec Full Synthetic
