This wonderful little Land Rover Santana 109 (Series IIA) is one of my all-time favorite Series Rovers. Starts right up and has a brand new battery (2/1/16) and new battery cables, uns smoothly, hifts crisply in all gears and is just a pleasure to drive and look at. We cruise around town in her and get questions, omments and thumbs up everywhere we go. Originally from Gualba, pain - just north of Barcelona - it came to us from our friends at Valencia Classic Vehicle Consulting who specialize in finding only the nicest examples of these classic older Rovers. Imported at the end of last year, e have the title in hand and she's ready to be re-titled and registered in your state.
Just over 76K all-original miles, his Land Rover had an older, hat I would call "driver-level" restoration while in Spain. The paint is lovely and looks fantastic from a few feet away but you will notice some blemishes up close. There is absolutely no rust anywhere. This Rover came from a dry region and has likely been stored inside most of it's life. The canvas top is excellent overall with new plastic windows all around. Steering is straight and tight, hifts correctly and smoothly with a full synchro-mesh, -spd transmission (no double-clutching) and has decent power overall for a 2.25L diesel. I can get her up to about 50mph and, arring any large hills, ruise quite easily at that speed or higher. Brakes are a little squishy which is somewhat normal for these older Rovers but she may need rear brakes in the near future. All gauges function, eadlights look nearly new, eater blows hot and tires are nearly new as well (although could use a new spare tire).
We've owned many of these and this is easily one of the nicest and strongest running.
