For Sale:
My 1962 Land Rover 109 5 door Series IIA Safari Station Wagon (Left Hand Drive) with 78263 original miles. I purchased this Land Rover from a close friend in 2012 with 75000 miles. It is registered in Colorado with a clear diesel title. Feel free to email me questions-justindbone @ gmail . com
With the power steering and diesel power- It drives really well, handles well on tight turns and corners. It is an awesome truck! I am really sad to part ways with it. I'm asking $28,500 OR BEST OFFER, make me an offer and we can discuss it.
This truck has been a frame off/up rebuild. Starting in 2012, the truck was completely taken down to the frame. This truck brings the old feel of the Series IIA Safari rig feel with a number of upgrades for comfort and performance.
Every item on this truck has been gone through very thoroughly. Since buying this vehicle I have upgraded and overhauled most of the vehicle to make it a reliable dependable vehicle for remote off highway travel.
Mechanically the truck has essentially been completely redone. I have all the receipts for every part/work/labor etc which now total the asking price. I unfortunately cannot keep this truck (which was my dream Rover) after all the work/time and money put into it-- and need to sell it to help pay for my fiance's nursing school
Of note:
*When doing the Diesel Conversion, I switched to the Defender front end for the grill and hood to allow for more room in the engine compartment.
