**** LOW RESERVE ***
*** SEE HUGE PICS BELOW TEXT ***
*** Added Pics on bottom - after further review there is more rust than I firstthought so please look at pics of rear door sills and underneath inside fender wells ***
1995 Range Rover Classic SWB
3.9L V8 Engine (Runs Strong)
Automatic Transmission Shifts good
TRANSFER CASE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED OR REBUILT
Front Drive Axle hasbeen removed but is included in the sale.
I bought this from Colorado sight unseen and the owner had thefront shaft removed and the transfer case is locked. It runs anddrives but makes a loud clicking noise when you first startoutthen it goes away after approx. 20mph - the transfer case willneed to be rebuilt or swapped with adifferent one before you canhave AWD. He had been driving itlike this for awhilebut onlyfor short trips to town and back.
I have listed this as No Reserve starting at $1500 because I'mtrying to recoup some of my money.
This is the last year of the Classics and the most sought after yearwith the soft dash. It is a project and will need some TLC.
All 4 power windows work properly
Sunroof does not open and I haven't tried to figure out why.
AC is all there but does not not turn on - could be because the fanswitch for the blower doesn't work
Rover has a nice stance to it, OME Springs with maybe a slight2 to 3" lift.
Decent matching tires all around with at least 50 to 60% tread left
Needs rear hatch struts (hence the ski pole is included)
Lights work
Emergency brake needs adjustment - does not hold
SRS, ABS & Service engine lights are on (the 3 amigos)
Brakes need work - abs pump makes noise and pedal is mushywhen first starting out
Power steering leaks
When I got the vehicle off the transport I noticed the hood hadrusted out around the latch. The vehiclecame from Gypsum, COwhere they get a ton ofsnow and it sat for awhile and snow collectedon the hoodandrusted a hole in it so I replaced the hood with a solidblackhood that will need to have a small dent fixed & hood painted.
The windshield is cracked really bad - see pics
Both Front Seats are in bad shape - see pics
Dash is in good shape
SUMMATION: The engine runs strong and starts every time, transmissionis solid, the transfer case will need to be swapped or rebuilt, hood painted, windshield replaced and then tend to thelesserissues (AC/Heater fan switch, Sunroof, Seat Covers, etc.)
Please look at all the pics and then if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. You cancall me at (928) 632-0151or my Cell (928) 379-0659. Thanks - Tom
