1986 Land Rover 90

You are bidding on a 1986 Land Rover 90 VIN # SALLDVAC7AA/264371 that was operated by the Ministry of Defense (MOD). it is right hand drive. I purchased the vehicle directly from the government and am the first owner to title it in the UK and USA. The chassis is in great shape due to the thickness being almost twice as thick as civilian models. I restored the vehicle back to its former glory in NATO green. I have to sell due to a baby on the way. but I want to make sure it goes to a owner that will care for it as much as I have. When the British military decided to phase this vehicle out. I travelled to their collection yard and when thru each vehicle until I found this one. Due to how the military maintains its vehicles. I was able to find this Land Rover with a recently overhauled engine (performed by the British military to Land Rover specifications). The engine only has 6. 00km (3. 00 miles) and runs like its brand new. Prior to leaving England I had a professional Land Rover mechanic install power steering from a later model Defender to make it more enjoyable to drive. After I finished the restoration. I changed all fluids (oil. transmission. differentials. and transfer case). the vehicles runs great. Also on the car are the original military tires that are no longer made. they have several thousands of miles left on them. The vehicle has no rust issues and I can answer any questions you may have because I have gone thru every last inch of it. It rides and drives great and has expensive Exmoor seats and matching carpet set. I have also have spare door locks and various other bits that I have saved that will go with the car at no additional cost. The Land Rover is driven every week and has never failed to get attention wherever it goes. I have all British documentation as well as certification from the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust as well as importation documentation and clean title.
