1997 Land Rover Defender 90 Hardtop

1997 Land Rover Defender 90 Hardtop. This is a US Spec vehicle that is California licensed and smog tested. This vehicle spent its first ten years owned by a Land Rover employee at the factory. Initially it was used to demo all the new features of the 97 model. Service during this period is fully documented in the service manual by the factory. It was then shipped to California where it has remained. There are no signs that it has been off road and there are no issues with rust on the chassis. It is one of only three 97 hardtops painted Monza red. A plaque was never assigned but a new blank one is included. The latest version of the LR Air Conditioning was recently installed in 2014.
