This is a 68 Corvette Stingray. One of the first ones of the C3Corvettes built. It has the C2 push-button door design. This car has been a ground up restoration. Everything rebuilt. body taken off the frame. Frame powder-coated. with a brand new Stage IV mono-spring front and rear suspension. New brake calipers. powder-coated. with new brake hoses and lines. so the whole brake kit is brand new. Engine is a new 383 roller motor. meaning roller cam and roller rockers. Forged doom pistons with H-rods and ARP bolts and Nascar race bearings. The block was a 327 out of a 69 Corvette. so the block is Era correct. Also has a Edlebrock TPI high-flow intake. and a speed density wiring harness that is also brand new. All the brackets for the engine are there and original radiator housing. shroud. and cross member was purchased to make car original again. Engine is balanced and blueprinted with builted sheets. The body is bran new front and back. purchased from Eckler's Corvette with new front wheel wells. The doors were perfect with nothing needing done to them. Hood with brackets were purchased used and so was the wiper cover door with vent dam to complete hood on front end. Nothing was overlooked. All the front brackets and bumpers and grills and lights and the grills for front are new. It comes with 2 sets of front lights. One set are powder-coated and one set is for parts. Fog lights are used. Rear lights have two sets of lights and housing. used to make the best of the two sets. This is the original 4-speed equip in the car. with a full-position traction rear end. All brand new universals on drive shafts and half-shafts. All the interior is original with no cracks in them and have been shrink-wrapped since removed. Also. original basket-weaved seats and has brand new rug for interior. (Black) Interior color is saddle tan and exterior is white. Steering wheel is original and lines and steering pump are also brand new. All bumpers. front and back and bumperettes are used originals. No cost was spared in the restoration of the vehicle. Car will need exhaust system. but does have brand new headers. Also will need rocker panels and to re-chrome bumber if you want the perfect 1968 Corvette. 327. 4-speed frame-off restoration that I wanted!
