Description

1974 Dodge Charger SE Brougham Original - 66. 00 Actual Miles The 1974 Dodge Charger is considered to be the last year of the performance Chargers and was the winningest body style with Rickard Petty in Nascar. Still today this car is considered a true heritage performance classic. This 1974 Dodge Charger SE with Brougham package has had one female owner since new prior to me. I purchased it from an estate sale in 2013. The Charger had not been driven in years when I purchased it and was last registered in 2009. This Charger was purchased new and spent its entire life in the San Francisco Bay area until I brought it Phoenix. As you can see in the pictures it still has its California blue license plates. This actual mileage 1974 Dodge Charger SE Brougham is equipped with: · 318 CI Engine· Automatic Transmission· Brougham Package· Factory Wire Wheel Covers· Air Conditioning - Converted to R134a· Power Windows· Cruise Control· Factory AM/FM Stereo Radio· Cloth Seats· Original Spare Tire (never used) The Charger starts. runs and drives well and the air conditioning is super cold. The tires are in great condition with lots of tread. Since the car has not been run since 2009 I know the car will need some level of typical repairs though to make it an everyday driver. This Dodge Charger has an older repaint from years ago and the body does have some small dings and dents but as you can see from the pictures it is not major damage but it’s not perfect either. The top of the left front fender has some small dents and paint scuffs due to transport damage when it was shipped to me years ago. The interior looks great with no wear or tear to the seats. headliner. door panels and carpet. The front seat material is in perfect condition but has some fading from the sun. The dash has a custom dash cover as the original dash pad is cracked. The plastic trim cover on the backside of both front seats is missing. This Dodge Charge still retains the original spare tire having never been on the ground and still has the molding bumps on the tread. Documentation on this includes Charger: · Original Purchase Order · Dodge Dealership Service Records · Original Owners Manual I had hoped to restore the car but after 2 years I don’t see that happening for me at this point. I have tried to describe it honestly but if you have questions please let me know. If you have to ask permission to buy this car please do so before you bid on it. Please DO NOT bid on this car if you do not have the money to buy it. I will expect you to purchase the car if you are the high bidder. I have a low reserve but know it is worth much more. Winning bidder must make $500 nonrefundable payment within 48 hours of end of auction. Full payment is due within 7 days of end of auction. If you do not complete 48 hour payment or final payment I will relist car for sale. On Apr-03-15 at 20:16:46 PDT. seller added the following information: The vinyl top is the original padded vinyl top. The vinyl top is not faded. worn or torn in any way. The padding is still soft underneath the vinyl. The top color looks black but within a few feet of it you can see it is a very dark green. While the body and sides of this car are super straight I have added a couple of pics that try to show the slight damage areas. The right rear fender is really hard to see. It looks as if something may have fallen against the car in the garage. Its about 4 inches long and more crease like. It is too high up to have been hit with a car seems to me. I added a pic showing the top of the left front fender where you can see some gray scrape like marks. Its not easy to see but you can rub your fingers across them and feel the scrapes. When the car was transported to me in 2013 the transport truck apparently left a chain hanging down and was laying on that fender as it was riding down the road. The chain bounced up and down on top of that fender and scuffed up the paint and made super shallow little dents where the chain links bounced on it. The dents are about the exact same as door dings but its on the top of the fender. I have added pics of the door tag and fender tag as well.
