As seen in the pictures down below this nice looking 2010 Lexus IS250C Convertible has light interior fire damage. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale in the condition you see it on the pics. No middle man involved. We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) at hand and ready to transfer to the new owner. Such vehicles can be legally returned back to the roads after repairs and your state motor vehicles inspection. Damaged areas are clearly shown in the pictures below. Looks like there was a light fire in the rear seat. The fire seems to have started from an external source such as a cigarette since we did not observe any burnt or damaged wire near the back seat. The car does start and engine runs great. goes into gear and drives normally. There are no major warning lights on the dash. All electronics seemed to work fine. Radio. lights. windows. heat. pwr seats. etc all worked fine. We were able to get the top to open normally with the power button but it would not close and dash warning light "check retractrable hardtop system" came on. Windows also stopped working after opening the top. We had to attempt to close the top manually by removing some of the top components as per instructions in the owners manual which is available online. Could not get the rear trunk door and rear glass portion to fully close. We did not notice any significant convertible to components to be damaged due to the fire. Some interior trim pieces and panels are obviously damaged/burnt but did not notice any wiring/electrical damaged components. Again the top opened normally with the power button. There might be a sensor or some sort of a switch failure to cause the top problem. All airbags are good.
