This is the perfect example of a well kept SC400.
This car is in near mint condition inside and out as it has been garaged it's whole life.
A little bit about the car...
I originally bought the car from the original owner with 157K miles. I have the original window sticker and all of his original paperwork from the purchase back in 1992 as well as his HUGE list of maintenance that I've added to since the purchase. This was my daily driver for the past 2 years until I bought a pickup a few months back.
Since the purchase, have done all the meticulous maintenance and repair work on the car myself as well as added some tasteful additions such as the W58 Transmission, o I will be able to tell you anything you would like to know.
Maintenance that I have done include:
1. Timing Belt, iming belt tensioner, ulleys, nd water pump and thermostat.
2. Both Cam seals, ront main seal, ear main Seal, ires, lugs, istributors, nd ignition coils (all OEM)
3. Coolant changed with OEM toyota red.
4. Differential Fluid changed with redline 75W-90 NS.
5. Rebuilt gauge cluster with new motors LEDs; everything on cluster is functioning.
6. New Brake Pads front and rear as well as new E-brake shoes.
7. Oil Pan resealed with OEM toyota FIPG.
8. Brake fluid flushed
9. Oil Changed with Castrol Synthblend 5W-30 every 5K.
10. Serpentine belt and pulleys replaced.
11. New Weathertech mats.
12. Door panels have been reinforced ( I have been trying to find OEM door gray door panels).
13. Polyurethane front control arm bushings.
14. New genuine leather armrest cover.
15. Clear Coated headlights assemblies to prevent fogging.
Tasteful Mods:
1. Supra MKIV TT wheels with Lexus Wheel caps from the 95 SC400 to match.
2. BC coilovers.
3. Nitto 555 255 in the rear and Falken ZIEX 912 235 in the front (all stock recommended tire sizes).
4. Motorsport TECH custom 17 MM spaces in the front.
5. 2001 Acura MDX antenna.
6. LS400 4 Piston Brake upgrade
7. Genuine leather seat covers. (Seats are in near mint condition and I would like to keep them that way).
8. Pioneer F500BT Headunit.
9. Rockford Fosgate R600X5 5 channel amplifier.
10. Image Dynamics 8" small enclosure subwoofer (custom built for the footwell but can be removed if necessary.)
11. 3M IJ180C Carbon fiber wrap over wood grain in interior.
12. TSX projector retrofits with OEM Denso Ballasts.
13. Custom fiberglass lip mated to DIBOND UNDERPANEL.
14. Refreshed W58 manual transmission prior to install with OEM sc300 swan neck shifter.
15. Transmission Adapter plate (1UZFESWAPKIT).
16. New T-56 Release bearing
17. New OEM SC300 Clutch master cylinder.
18. OEM SC300 manual driveshaft.
19. MR2 Exedy stage 1 clutch.
20. SC300 manual pedal set with bondra corvette clutch extension.
21. Redline MT90 manual transmission fluid.
22. Cornering lamps converted to daytime running lights
There are some other small maintenance and mods and those will be reflected in my stack of records. But these are all the major ones.
I kept this car immaculately clean inside and out and have gone for a slightly aggressive but still OEM look.
The car is 100% daily drivable and pulls hard with the W58. Mileage is currently at 179K.
This car has been smogged as well and ready to register in california. It doesn't need anything else.
