NC. MSRP $59. 95 (sticker included) In the following paragraphs I will describe this Cayman in excruciating detail. Please contact me with any questions. I have 100 high resolution DSLR photos and a copy of the clean Carfax available upon request. Exterior: As you can see from the photos. the exterior of this Cayman is exceptionally nice. There are no signs of any paintwork. it presents as a very well taken care of car. The paint has a fresh clay bar. polish. and Zaino wax. giving it a beautiful deep shine. free of any swirls or imperfections. Meteor Gray Metallic is a really good color that accentuates the curves of the Cayman. The body is totally straight except for one tiny ding on the right rear fender. too slight to photograph. Rock chips are very few on the front end. just a very light peppering. One repaired chip in the windshield. slightly bigger than a pencil eraser. Wheels are in very nice condition. with only a few very light chips on the spokes. Overall it is a very nice looking car that has obviously been loved. Interior: Similarly nice. the interior also shows exceptional care. The leather is soft and supple. with only very slight wear on the outer bolsters. Unlike many 987s the steering wheel. shift knob. and emergency brake handle leather are excellent. Interior plastics are excellent. with no wear or scratches. The carpets are flawless as well. no stains. tears. or wear. The floor mats are brand new Porsche mats. and the trim around the headlight switch was replaced due to a small chip. Every feature works exactly as it should inside. zero issues. The hatchback and front trunk area are both clean as well. and the front trunk inflation and tool kit is present. Again. a very nice car that has been well kept. Mechanical: Just a fantastic driving Cayman that needs nothing. The 9A1 motor is the latest architecture that does not utilize an IMS bearing. making one potential 987 concern disappear. The engine is smooth and powerful without any caution lights. No leaks or smoking. Over-rev report available. no revolutions in ranges 3-6 which is exceptional. Clean Durametric scan with no faults. The suspension is tight with a great ride/handling balance. no clunks or vibrations. Steering is tight without pulling or vibration. a four wheel alignment was just completed. Brakes are powerful with a solid pedal. good pads. no vibration on braking. and a fresh fluid bleed with ATE Super Gold. The shifter and transmission are positive and smooth. no popping out of gear or grinding. Clutch is strong without any slipping. nice and light with a low release point. Tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sport with excellent tread. approximately 8/32 front and 7/32 rear. The 60k service was just performed. which includes spark plugs. air filter. pollen filter. brake and clutch bleed. and an oil and filter change. A four wheel alignment was also performed. At this point it is a turn-key car that is up to date on book maintenance and needs nothing. no issues. Needless to say it is fantastic to drive. as are all of the 987s. Quick. ultra-responsive. and just a ton of fun. Flaws: I firmly believe in full disclosure when selling cars. I am an enthusiast and have bought a number of cars online. I model my selling on my own experiences. I am also incredibly particular about cars. most of the noted flaws are not immediately obvious. On the outside there are a few very light rock chips up front. a few very light chips on the wheel spokes. one tiny ding on the right rear fender. and a repaired rock chip on the windshield slightly larger than a pencil eraser. Inside there is very light wear on the outer seat bolsters on both seats. and light scuffing on the plastic door sill covers. It is overall an exceptional car that could easily pass for being nearly new. I buy and sell a lot of cars. and it’s easy to see the ones that are loved. It’s no surprise that this car came with a PCA sticker in the front windshield. because it shows all the signs of an enthusiast owned and loved car. It is exceptionally clean inside and out. has no stories. is totally up to date on maintenance. and fantastic to drive.
