Such vehicles can legally be returned back to the roads after your state salvage inspection. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale in the condition you see it on the pics. No middle man involved. We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) at hand and ready to transfer to the new owner. We normally sell light damaged insurance loss vehicles but this nice looking MKX had no body damage due to an accident. Looks like it was in an area or close in proximity to a fire and was declared salvage due to smoke & heat exposure. There was no fire on the vehicle itself and as seen in the pictures there are no major burnt components. Overall paint looks good with some light paint scratches and dings. Has some light signs of smoke exposure due to the fire. Most of it should easily be buffed out with a good detail or at a body shop. Some chrome trims also show the signs of smoke/heat exposure. The side mirror plastic housing has melted along with the antenna on the very top of the vehicle. The rear hatch spoiler on top also shows signs of heat stress. There is no damage to the sunroof or to other glass. Tires and wheels look good. Overall. the car still shows great and should look much better after some cosmetic exterior cleanup/touchups. There is no damage to the interior and no smell of any smoke/fire. There are no warning lights on the dash and engine runs great. Many pictures down below show the overall condition of the vehicle.
