The miles were accumulated from 1977 to 1979, fter which it was stored, oorly. It was sold as part of the original owner's estate sale in 2009 when I acquired it. A thorough driver restoration has been in progress since 2012. It is now finished, eautiful, eliable, nd ready to drive anywhere any time.
The body was disassembled, ll glass out, ll trim removed, nd completely stripped to metal in preparation for a quality repaint in its original Dark Cordovan Metallic color. Bright work has all been polished, everal parts replaced with NOS or NOS-quality. Undercarriage was cleaned, anded, nd brush painted with POR-15; not concourse correct but all will be black, lean, hiny, nd serviceable for a very long time. Looks great.
The interior was completely removed and cleaned, xtra high density floor padding/insulation was added. Power window and seat mechanisms were thoroughly cleaned and re-lubricated. Engine accessories all removed and refurbished, artially repainted (drive train was not removed, o need). New complete true dual exhaust with H-pipe, attery and alternator, ires, elts. . .more. Hoses and numbered ignition wires are original and nice.
Work remaining includes the radio; FM gets static only, M works fine. I will provide a working AM/FM Quadrasonic 8-track unit, hich is a correct factory upgrade. The passenger side mirror is difficult to adjust, orking on that. That's it - everything else is in great working condition including the Cartier clock, ll windows (with optional power vents), ll 6-way adjustments on both seats, ower locks, ll gauges, tc. Air conditioning blows ice cold with the completely original R-12 system, o modifications done since new.
Body, aint, hrome, rim, echanicals, ccessories -- all superb. Runs, rives, tops, urns, erfectly. The only interior flaws are few signs of age/wear in the leather, ut overall is excellent.
