This is an original survivor car. I purchased it from the gentleman who purchased it from the estate of the original owners in 2009, with 58,000 original, documented miles. Now has 64,000 miles. The original owners purchased the car new from Jim Glaze Lincoln - Mercury on Redlands Boulevard. All original interior in excellent condition. Leather is soft and has some wrinkles but no cracking. Front seat rebuilt by Ron Magnus with new high density foam using the original leather cover. Headliner, carpets, door panels and vinyl top are all original and in great shape. We have replaced brake hoses, radiator and heater hoses, fuel lines, brake booster and most rubber parts that were dry-rotted from sitting. Resealed valve covers and pan to replace dried out gaskets. Everything works: New . Wipers (hydraulic) work, replaced soft lines. All the power windows work like new, replaced two window motors. The original AM only radio and power antenna work fine. I have added a Sony DX5100 Digital AM/FM/iPod head unit and a 1100 watt 5 channel amp with 10" woofer and 6 speakers. Comes with 20" Boss wheels and 225/45 R20 Goodyear Eagle tires. I also have the original 15" steel wheels and stainless steel hubcaps which come with the car. This is a rare car. Automatic transmission with 3-speed planetary gear set with a 6-position selector dial. 462 cu. in. V8 engine with an advertised horsepower of 340 at 460 r.p.m and 485 lb-ft of torque at 2800 r.p.m.
