2005 Lotus Elise, Saffron Yellow, touring package, original owner

Offering for sale my 2005 Lotus Elise. Saffron Yellow. Touring Package. one owner. bought new Sept. 2004 from Fox Valley Motors in Illinois. one of the first in the US. currently 55. 93 mostly highway miles. It's been to most of the lower 48 states. plus Canada. a couple of track days. a few autocross days. car shows and scenic drives. New tires (Continental. much quieter and less harsh than the original Yokahamas. but less sticky). aluminum radiator. new oil coolers (with the oil line service). Body color center shift cover. Service done by Fox Valley Lotus in IL. Sports and Specialist Lotus in Princeton NJ. and San Francisco Lotus in CA. Power windows. power door locks with remote locking. alarm. Blaupunkt CD/AM/FM stereo. 30-35 MPG. two keys with remote fobs. I have owned three other Lotus'. a '76 Éclat. an '88 Esprit. and a '00 Esprit. and feel it's time to move on to another Lotus. It has been a great and reliable car. It has a few paint chips on the nose with the unavoidable scrapes underneath. I had these repaired and repainted three years ago. but there are some back again. I have also replaced the blower motor resisters and relocated them. Replaced the A/C condenser and one A/C line. Replaced the stock radiator with an all aluminum one from Dietsch Werks in San Jose. Replaced one coil pack about 5 years ago. The calipers have been painted body color as well. All the Lotus service recalls and upgrades are up to date including the oil line ends. shifter. and A/C sensor. Looking for a good home for my Elise. hopefully to someone who loves and appreciates Lotus.
