2005 Lotus Elise Convertible

Selling mycherishedLotus Elise only because my girlfriend has had a stroke and can no longer get in and out of it. This car is in immaculate condition. Owner is retired 67 year old man with 7 other cars. Garage kept and only driven in pretty weather. Never raced, racked, r otherwise abused. Fresh battery this month. No dings. Only small mark in paint is on rear spoiler area, oo small to see in a photo. If you want any more photos than those posted just let me know. I'll take whatever shot you wish and email it to you.
Has small interior mirror installed, ut I have the larger stock mirror. No visors. Were removed by original owner. Otherwise bone stock.
I live in Saluda, C, 0 miles from the Asheville, C airport and 40 miles from the Greenville/Spartanburg, C airport.

No damage. Very slight paint imperfections from ordinary driving, ncluding a nick on the lip of the rear spoiler. Tires will need replacement before next season. On drive yesterday (June 28) the check engine light came on. Ran and drove fine. Will post update when I get the code read.

Just ran an error code check. It is P0012, ndicating bank 1 camshaft timing over-retarded. I doubt this is correct, ecause it is running normally and smoothly. From what I read online it's probably a sensor error, ut I'm getting it fully checked out at the earliest opportunity. Drove it both on twisty road and the interstate and can detect no problem or degradation in performance. Just booked the earliest appointment I could get at nearest dealer, hich is Monday July 7.

Just to be clear, ince the dealer diagnosis of the engine light issue comes close to the end of this auction -- and perhaps after -- this sale is premised on the assumption that there is no issue or if there is it will be properly repaired at my expense. So, ou can bid with confidence thatyou are either getting the car in perfect running order, r there is no obligation to close the transaction. Never before had a dissatisfied eBay buyer and don'tintend to have one now.
