This Lotus Elan has a rebuilt motor. clutch. trans. brakes. relined gas tank. webers (large ones). This right hand driver came into america with the larger carbs. She runs strong. One last thing needed is one of the valves is raised slightly higher so it needs to be replaced or cut down but runs just fine. The brake lines needs to be replaced and blead. The brake calipers all have been rebuilt. I would go through them again as its been sitting. The emergency brake system needs to be overhauled. Now the fun part is the interior as you can see needs a complete overhual. The good thing now is you can paint it to suit your liking and interior that suits you. I personally like red with italian light beige leather. The motor came with this car when I bought it and i am told is original. Who knows what original is if you are a Lotus collector then you know they didn't keep great track of records. I have repair receipt logs of repairs and parts spent from various vendors. I have a clear California title that will come with the purchase. Gauges work as I last recall but should be gone through. Sad that I have to let this go! This is number 183 car from 1967. I can help in some transportation assistance. but obvious you pay for the cost to ship. I've owned for 5 years or so but sadly I am moving so alot of my projects have to go. I paid about $6700 for the motor and drive train work done by British European works in San Pedro. May end early as it is listed elsewhere. sold as is
